Booking terms and conditions
These terms apply to every booking made through RideTJ (ridetj.com, our WhatsApp line and our email addresses). Version of 20 October 2026.
1. Who is who
“We”, “us” and “RideTJ” mean GG Services Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, which operates the RideTJ brand, takes bookings and receives payment. “The transport provider” means the licensed local company or entrepreneur that performs your ride, and “the driver” means the person driving on its behalf. “You” means the person who makes the booking and every guest travelling under it.
2. How your ride is provided
We arrange your ride with a licensed transport provider and a licensed, insured driver. We are responsible for taking your booking accurately, selecting a vetted driver, passing on your instructions, handling changes, cancellations and refunds under these terms, and helping you if something goes wrong. The transport provider is responsible for the carriage itself: the vehicle, the driver, road safety, compliance with transport law and the compulsory insurance.
3. Booking and confirmation
A request or a price quote is not a booking. A quote shown on the site is valid for 72 hours. A booking exists only when we send a written confirmation by email or WhatsApp showing the route, date, pickup time, car class, number of guests and price. For day trips, driver days and multi-day trips we confirm after a 30% deposit. The evening before your trip we send the driver’s name, phone number and car plate. We may substitute a driver or car of the same or a higher class.
4. Prices and what is included
Prices are in US dollars, per car, not per person, and are fixed at confirmation. They include fuel, road fees and parking, waiting time as set out below, stops on request of up to 1 hour in total on transfers, and normal luggage. On multi-day trips the driver’s own lodging, meals and return drive are included. Not included: your accommodation and meals, entrance tickets, visa and GBAO permit fees, tips. Night pickups (23:00–06:00) carry the surcharge shown for that route.
5. Payment
Transfers and day trips are paid to the driver at the end of the ride, in cash in US dollars or Tajik somoni. Driver days and multi-day trips: 30% deposit to confirm, balance before or during the trip; the method is stated in your confirmation.
6. Waiting time
At the airport we track your flight and the driver waits 60 minutes free from the actual arrival time. At other pickups the driver waits 15 minutes free. At land borders the driver on the far side waits as long as the crossing reasonably takes. If you do not appear and do not contact us within the waiting time plus 30 minutes, the booking is treated as a no-show.
7. Guests and luggage
Maximum guests: 3 in a sedan, 6 in a minivan, 4 in a 4x4, 16 in a Sprinter; every guest needs a seat with a seat belt. Child seats on request with the children’s ages. Drivers may refuse anything illegal or dangerous and a guest who endangers safety. No smoking in the cars.
8. Changes and cancellations
Changes are free up to 24 hours before pickup, subject to availability. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup with a full refund of anything paid; for multi-day Pamir trips free cancellation is up to 7 days before departure. Later cancellations: the deposit is retained. No-shows are not refunded. If the authorities close a road, pass or border, or the weather makes the trip unsafe, you may choose a free new date or a 100% refund for the part not performed.
9. Borders, permits and documents
You are responsible for a valid passport and any visas or permits required for your nationality, including the GBAO permit for the Pamir. Border procedures, queues and opening hours are set by the authorities; our border and permit pages are guidance checked at the date stated, not a guarantee. If you are refused entry or a checkpoint stops you for missing documents, the trip is treated as cancelled by you.
10. High-altitude travel
Pamir routes run at 3,500–4,700 m. You are responsible for being fit to travel at altitude. The driver may change the route or descend if a guest’s health or the road requires it.
11. Liability
The transport provider is liable for the carriage, including injury and loss of or damage to luggage, under the law of the country where the carriage takes place and its compulsory insurance. We are liable for our own failures, and our liability is limited to the price of the affected booking, except where the law does not allow such a limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights unless caused by our negligence.
12. Force majeure
Neither we nor the transport provider are liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including road, pass or border closures, landslides, mudflows, avalanches, floods, snowstorms, epidemics, military action or changes in law. You are then offered a free new date or a refund of what you paid for the part not performed.
13. Complaints
Please tell us during the trip on WhatsApp +996 777 889 992 so we can fix it on the spot. Written complaints can be sent to booking@ridetj.com within 30 days after the trip; we reply in full within 14 days.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
