Questions
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. A sedan takes up to 3 people, a minivan up to 6, a 4x4 up to 4 and a Sprinter up to 16. The calculator also shows the price per person.
Do I need a permit for the Pamir?
Yes, the GBAO permit. Tick the GBAO option when you apply for the Tajik e-visa; it is issued with the visa. See our GBAO permit guide.
How do I pay?
Transfers and day trips are paid to the driver in cash (USD or somoni). Multi-day Pamir trips are confirmed with a 30% deposit.
Who are the drivers?
Professional drivers of licensed local partner carriers. Pamir trips are driven by Pamiri drivers in Land Cruisers or Pajeros. English-speaking drivers on request.
