Samarkand → Panjakent transfer
Samarkand to Panjakent is about 65 km: some 45 km (about 50 minutes) to the Jartepa border post, a walk across to Sarazm on the Tajik side, and about 20 km (25 minutes) into Panjakent — 2–3 hours door to door with the border. Cars do not cross here, so we arrange both: an Uzbek car from your Samarkand hotel to the border, and a Tajik driver waiting on the other side with your name on a sign.
